Children’s programming is an important part of our ministry at Abbeydale. Children ministry’s purpose is “To plan and organize ministry to children at ACF. Children’s ministry encompasses teaching, discipleship, outreach and including children in corporate worship and service within the church body.”
We have developed a number of programs for children and young families.
- Preschool – during the second half of our worship service, we provide care for children ages 18 months to 5 years. There are games and toys for a fun experience.
- Sunday School – during the second half of our worship service our Sunday School program is offered for children in Kindergarten to Grade 5. There is a guided program to talk through key bible stories and talk about faith.
- Kids Club – Friday Nights at 6:30 to 8:00 – Children in grades 1-5 are welcome to join us to learn God’s word, make friends, and develop new skills.
- Vacation Bible School – July 15th to 19th 2024. More details will be available shortly.
We have adopted a Safe Place Policy which requires that volunteers in the nursery and junior church programs be screened and trained.
