Children are important to us at Abbeydale! Our ministry to children encompasses teaching, discipleship, and outreach. Children are included in corporate worship and service within the church.
We have developed a number of programs for children and young families.
Preschool
Preschool runs from September to June each year during the second half of the Sunday morning worship service. We provide care for children ages 18 months to 3 years. There are games and toys for a fun experience.
Kids Club
Kids’ Club runs from September to May from 6:30 to 8:00 on Friday evenings. Children in grades 1-5 are welcome to join us to learn God’s word, make friends, and develop new skills.
Vacation Bible School
July 15th to 19th 2024. More details will be available shortly. To register your kids, click here.Sunday School
Sunday School runs from September to June during the second half of our worship service. Our Sunday School program is offered for children age 4 years to Grade 6. There is a guided program to talk through key bible stories and learn about faith.
Coloring Sheets
During the summer break and on long weekends, when there is no preschool or Sunday School, we provide coloring sheets with markers or crayons for the children during our Sunday worship.
Safe Place
We have adopted a Safe Place Policy which requires that volunteers in all children’s and youth programming be screened and trained.
